Major League Soccer Cinemagraph featuring Thierry Henry

Cinemagraphs, a new trend in web graphics, are still photographs that show minor and repeated movements. Cinemagraphs, which are usually animated GIFs, make the viewer think they are watching a video.

I thought I’d take a stab at creating a cinemagraph to promote my favorite sport, soccer, and a star of Major League Soccer, Thierry Henry.

Programs used to create this cinemagraph were Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop. A 3D animated model, the soccer ball, was also used.

Craven Cottage

Fulham FC’s Chris Baird centers the ball at the revered football stadium Craven Cottage which is located in Fulham, London on the banks of the River Thames.
